Dear Reader,

And now back to regularly scheduled programming!

In this month’s cover feature (cover art by our pal Zack Giallongo) is Ryan Stevens on Hi-Fi Rush, which is such a special gem of thing to exist in this year of sequels. Also this month is Latonya Pennington on what a special time capsule for RPGs the 3DS was.

For this month’s Funeral Rites, brought to you by Exalted Funeral, Jay Castello chats with Levi Combs and Sally Cantirino about Vorpal Almanac, their collection of unique and amazing swords for Old-School Essentials. You always need more magic swords!

As for our regular columnists, Oluwatayo Adewole upends the formula. Jay Castello is the only billionaire I’d trust on Mars. Deirdre Coyle plays something other than Skyrim. Emma Kostopolus is mindful. Matt Marrone leaves screens behind. Justin Reeve builds a city, comrade. Rob Rich takes a deep dive Underwater. Levi Rubeck bears the pall for a real one. Phil Russell tears up the kingdom. Ben Sailer reminds me there’s a new White Reaper album. Phoenix Simms reminds us the fae play by their own laws of physics. And Noah is relaunching!

It’s going to be a few action-packed months on our unending march to October. We’ll have another theme for you all and I’m so excited for you to see it!

See you all in a few weeks in Exploits!

Be good to yourselves, kind to others, and if you’re hungry, eat the rich.
