FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE- Nintendo Co. Ltd is proud to announce an unprecedented new partnership and collaboration with world renowned developer Supercell. Supercell has been known for their multimillion download releases of innovative and exciting touch bases games. Now for flash enabled browsers, iOS and Android, they will be partnering with Shigeru Miyamoto on Clash of Smash, the first Ville game to feature characters drawn from the extensive, colorful and “smashing” universe of Nintendo, as well as Battles of the Mushroom Kingdom, a groundbreaking Multiplayer Online Battle Area game.
Nintendo strives to be an industry leader in innovative games and gameplay experience on a broad base of 3rd party hardware. Supercell joins other world renowned developers in developing new and exciting products for handheld and mobile devices.
Launching next week, Clash of Smash will also add to our ever expanding portfolio of fully licensed official Nintendo products available on all major platforms. Starting this holiday season, for the first time since being brought into the Disney family, Nintendo fans will be able to enjoy even more Nintendo as part of the relaunched Disney Infinity, now simply titled Infinity.
Players will able to transfer their saves from between console games and iOS or Android version (separate purchase required). This unrivaled game technology will allow players to access inventories, maps, accessories, and Nintendo Second Screen technology to play games both on the big screen and the small screen. The new Infinity 4.0 technology will allow users for the first time play together with the entire cast of Marvel, Star Wars, Disney, and Nintendo either online or at a participating retailer with their enabled Hotspot.
Last year’s record setting profits proved that Nintendo’s future lies in the success of its beloved and supported characters and not in high cost ventures like hardware development. Our expanded universe of line of products such as Mario, Mario Kart, Metroid, Super Smash Bros., Donkey Kong, Zelda, and Star Fox will continue to be available on PS4.5, XboxOne2 and Steam as well as new additions like Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing.
Battles of the Mushroom Kingdom will be available on all major consoles this holiday season. Closed beta invites are available to those who pre-order.
