Dear Reader,

From the bottom of my heart, a huge thank you to the 102 of you that are joining us as part of our Annual October Subscription Drive. Welcome aboard and we hope to keep you entertained for another 145 issues, at least! This year’s Subscription Drive was the most successful ever and I can’t wait to bring you the Doom and Monsters theme issues.

And now, the features. Our cover (art by Stu Horvath) feature this month is Gerry Hart discussing the political climate of Watch Dogs: Legion. Also joining us for features is Noah Berlatsky piecing apart the strange world of Guardians of the Flame. For our Unreal sponsored feature this month, Melissa King talks to the developer of the critically acclaimed time loop game from Modern Storyteller about The Forgotten City.

Columns are up!

First of all, please welcome Julie Muncy! Everyone say hi to Julie! Julie’s been a voice that I’ve admired for a very long time and I’m super excited to have her on board. Her piece this month on Metroid Dread is a banger.

Onto the existing cast! Yussef Cole speaks about the experience of owning the other console! Sara Clemens has another comic (I’m still picking up my jaw)! Amanda Hudgins talks about geese! Matt Marrone finished watching one of the Star Treks people have Strong Opinions about! Justin Reeve takes us to Paris, a bad smelling version of it! Rob Rich writes about robots that combine and transform, you know the ones, Tobots! Phil Russell talks about Dune for some reason! Ben Sailer takes a trip…Eastward! And Noah Springer does hip hop for babies!

Those of you in the northern half of the planet, stay warm!

See you all in a few weeks at Exploits!
