Annual subscriptions are $55. Subscriptions rebill automatically unless cancelled.

Exploits comes out on or about the 1st of the month. Unwinnable comes out on or about the 15th.

Subscribers get the current month’s issues and access to our private Discord when subscribing. Our process is not automated; we fill orders manually, so please be patient at night, on weekends or during holidays.

If you have any questions, comments, suggestions or if your subscription is a gift, please mail us at subscriptions@unwinnable.com.

Since 2010, Unwinnable has been creating award-winning, independent writing on culture – primarily videogames, but also tabletop games, movies, television, music, books, politics and life in general.

Now you can buy a whole year’s worth of Unwinnable Monthly in one go – for yourself, or as a gift! That annual subscription will help keep Unwinnable alive and make sure there is always a place on the internet for writers to write the stories they want to write.

So Much Holiday Cheer!

Santa’s giving you all the stuff. For $55 (that’s one issue free!), you get twelve issues of Unwinnable Monthly and twelve issues of Exploits.

You’ll also receive access to every back issue of the magazine. That’s 73 issues – well over 4,500 pages celebrating games, movies, horror and more. A $630 value!

As our gift to you for signing up, United States residents will receive a copy of The Unseen: The Unwinnable Guide to Lesser-Known Horror Films and TV, 2008-2018 for free! That’s right, an 80-page, full-color, physical book, sent to your home entirely for no cost. (Folks outside the US, we’ll gladly send you the book as well, but we do need to charge for shipping.)

Special offer runs through December 22.

Want a regular subscription? Go to our standard subscription page or sign up through Patreon. We’ll still give you all the free stuff!

Still, There is More!

If we get ten annual subscriptions by December 22, we’ll do an all-Gremlins theme issue in 2022! That’s right, a whole issue of Unwinnable Monthly dedicated to the greatest holiday movie ever made! We’re already 50% of the way, let’s finish coloring in that sad, gray wreath, yea?
