Ah, yes, abstraction. At a certain point with collision stuff, it doesn’t actually make sense to be able to see the game itself. It’s better just to see the things that are actually colliding, the hitboxes. So now we sort of see under the hood of the game and my pathetic collision code. Amusingly, the nearest green shape (A table? A person? A chair?) doesn’t collide, but the walls do. But not in a nice jostley way. This is the first time you can go out the door, though. Agency!
