Flash Rave!

The Horrors of Suburbia!

Current Issue

Accompanied by a few good friends and armed with a bagful of glowing props, Unwinnable recently took part in Improv Everywhere‘s mp3 Experiment 8 in Manhattan’s Nelson Rockefeller Park – and had an absolute blast.

While we could try to capture the experience in words – slow-dancing with strangers, high-fiving bewildered bystanders, helping the poor souls who accidentally powered down their iPods to re-sync with the hive mind, waving our freak flags high (in my case a flashing plastic ring), regrouping afterwards for copious amounts of sake and ’80s night at the Pyramid Club – Improv Everywhere has just released a video that essentially tells the story better than we ever could, especially since the night turned into a festival of lights that has to be seen to be appreciated.

A flash rave, if you will.

Oh, and before you tease us about it – just know that you won’t be the first to make that clever reference. Asshole.

Here’s the video:

Matt Marrone wore a black T-shirt for the event. You know, in case you want to go frame by frame (or photo by photo) to try and spot him. We won’t blame you. Let him know what you find on Twitter @thebigm
