The Green Lantern mythology is complicated and ethereal, involving a unique take on willpower and fear and courage as heavy themes. These themes worked brilliantly in movies gone by, such as Christopher Nolan’s Batman Begins, but here, a lack of exposition makes viewers feel as if they’re watching an exceptionally well-CGIed children’s movie.
