Push Play
Talk about kismet: Unwinnable’s March theme week coincides with the 2013 Game Developers Conference. That might overwhelm a lesser gaming site, but not us. Instead of doing the usual conference coverage, we had the opportunity to do something a little bit different. We could celebrate that one thing that brings us all together, the common thread that we – writers, readers, developers, teachers – devote so much of our lives to: Play.
To do that, we’ve invited some special guests to join our regular contributors in sharing their myriad of experiences with play. We will also bring you our thoughts on the things we see and learn at GDC 2013. Yesterday, a majority of Unwinnable’s regular contributors descended on San Francisco in preparation for the conference. We invite you to follow them on Twitter as they tweet their impressions:
Stu Horvath – Jenn Frank – Chuck Moran – Brian Taylor – Brendan Keogh – Ken Lucas – Richard Clark – Steve Haske – Cara Ellison – Chris Dahlen – Nels Anderson – Teddy Diefenbach – Daniel Imperiale – Sam Machkovech
And if you are at GDC 2013, or live in the Bay Area, consider this a party invite: Come down to the High Tide in San Francisco Monday night at 8pm to join us in kicking off the conference in gritty, dive bar style.
