Dear Reader,

This is AI month. Welcome to the slop-fest.

Well, I mean, not from us. We’re writing about the slop-fest that so many are happily turning our world into.

First up, I’d like to highlight Orrin Grey and Amanda Hudgins. On AI, obviously, but really focusing in on what we have and what we can lose.

For this month’s Funeral Rites, brought to you by Exalted Funeral, Emma Kostopolus vibes on (fraternal) twin zines Infinite Worlds and Infinite Horrors.

And now, the regular bits and bytes. Elijah Beahm welcomes you to the jam. Emma Kostopolus reminds us AI slop is actually so boring. Natasha Ochshorn gets romantic. Emily Price pleads to our better angels. Justin Reeve visits the ruins of a technologically advanced magic sky people who loved robots. Rob Rich WORDS. Levi Rubeck waxes poetic. Ben Sailer goes to the greatest robot band show in the world. Alyssa Wejebe imagines nonhumans. Autumn Wright talks to a guy about a machine.

And remember, there is no ethical use of AI.

See you all in the next Exploits!
