Even though sometimes they can misfire, there is still a good chance for a clean kill (this is how they are designed – unlike glue traps) whereas a glue trap is 100% chance of suffering. Good snap traps are quick and efficient.

And stop being condescending please, "humane" to me is the minimisation of pain, not the avoidance of killing.
