  • Over the last several years, Hollywood has become somewhat warier about releasing sequels, and many projects that were in the process of being developed, such as a new chapter in the Die Hard series, now look to be in some sort of limbo. However, sequels are extremely likely to be produced, and below is a list that with information about some upcoming sequels that we’re sure you don’t want to miss.

    Predator 5: Prey

Predator 5: Prey will tell us the tale of Naru, a strong and accomplished warrior who lived in the Comanche Nation round 300 years ago. Raised by fabled hunters from the Great Plains, when danger threatens her people, she sets out to defend them. We do know that Amber Midthunder will portray Naru in the starring role. Her most well-known performances are in the television programs “Legion” and “Roswell.” On August 5, 2022, it will be available for streaming on Hulu in the United States.

    Creed III

Michael B. Jordan has just stated that he will direct Creed 3. Ryan Coogler and Steven Caple Jr. helmed the first two films, and Thompson will portray their mother. Bianca Taylor and Wood Harris will play Tony “Little Duke” Evers. Creed 3 is set to be released on November 23, 2022. It’s still some time away but Warner Bros. has a huge catalogue of movies you can enjoy until then, just like the extensive catalogue of casino games available by Red Tiger at Platincasino.

    Extraction 2

Tyler Rake (starring Chris Hemsworth) will be charged in Extraction 2 with rescuing a family from the hands of a Georgian mobster. Rake must penetrate one of the world’s most dangerous jails to free them, but when the extraction goes wrong and the gangster dies during combat, his equally brutal brother hunts Rake down to get vengeance. Netflix has not announced a specific release date for Extraction 2, but we do know it will be released sometime in 2022.

    Attack the Blocks 2

Boyega is the solely confirmed returnee for Attack the Block 2. Granted, the character will once again lead the assault against extraterrestrial invaders in London’s inner metropolis. As Cornish predicted, the stakes will rise, as will the story. Moses and his pals believed they had halted the invaders on Guy Fawkes Night in 2011, but something must have compelled the alien race to return to Earth. Although details are few, there is already considerable interest in Attack the Block 2. The best bet would be a 2023 release for Attack the Block 2 at the earliest.

    Scream 6

Once again, Ghostface makes his appearance. Following the critical and commercial success of the most recent Scream film, Gale Weathers and the rest of the cast will be returning for another go at terrifying audiences.

Everyone thought that the characters who were alive after Scream (2022) would be returning for the sixth installment. Back in May we got some more news as Deadline announced that Melissa Barrera, and Mason Gooding would be returning to their roles. This has made lots of fans very happy and we can’t wait to hear more about the upcoming Scream film.

    Meg 2: The Trench

The Meg 2: The Trench, starring Jason Statham, returns us to the realm of the ancient shark, and we finally have a release date. At CinemaCon, it was announced that Meg 2: The Trench will be released in cinemas in the middle of next year’s summer. The release date is August 4, 2023, that means the sequel will be released 5 years after its predecessor, but fans are excited to see Statham come back to his role as Jonas Taylor.

    The Equalizer 3

This movie will be released in cinemas, with Denzel Washington reprising his role as the title character. The picture will be released on September 1, 2023, and will be shown in premium large formats, including IMAX.

Fans of the series were starting to worry whether the trilogy would ever be finished. The Equalizer 2 was released in 2018, and there hasn’t been any news about the third picture since. Until recently, the film had not even been formally confirmed.

    The Exorcist sequel

While the first film was released on an unusual holiday for scary movies, the first film in the “Exorcist” sequel trilogy will enter cinemas closer to the most terrifying time of year, with fans able to scare themselves silly on October 13, 2023.

A mysterious demon takes control of a 12-year-old girl, causing her mother to ask for help from two priests to save her.

So far, only Burstyn has been confirmed to come back for the second movie.

    Conclusion

There is no lack of big-name upcoming films entering theatres this year. Later in the year, we’ll see more Marvel in the shape of Black Panther 2, while DC has its own superhero offering. More horror films, such as Halloween Ends, and long-awaited sequels, such as Avatar 2, are also on the way.
