DR Gaming Technology seems to show their product portfolio at more exhibition shows this year than ever. However, according to Jurgen De Munck, the CEO of DR Gaming Technology said that they are actually attending the same number of shows. He thinks that the company has created the impression that they are indeed exhibiting at more shows. It is because they see there is a genuine increase in the interests of their products and technology from both media and operators point of view.
DRGT initially started as a systems company and then it evolved to include table games and online slots. For example, the Blackjack11, the newest table game is doing really well in Central and South America and Africa. The response to this table game has been really good. The most recent installation took place in May at Peermont’s Rio Casino and at Sun International’s iconic Sun City Resort.
After these places, additional installations were done at Sun Carnival City, Sun Sibaya, Sun Windmill and others. In addition, the Blackjack11 installation also were done in other travel-wise places like Peermont and Tsogo Sun Casinos, casinos in Belgium, Cyprus, the UK, Angola and the Seychelles.
Blackjack11 proved to be outstanding in Central and South American, Dominican Republic and Peru, and most recently in Mexico, where an DRGT office was opened over a year ago. In Mexico, Blackjack11 has seven tables installed across Miravalle Group’s casinos.
Asked about what other products will be launched in 2019, Jurgen De Munck answered that new table game called Poker21 has been released at ICE London 2019 and like BlackJack11, it is literally too easy to play and easy to learn. In addition, recently there have been a number of upgrades to the Tables Management System, with slots being the forefront of management systems development for some time, just because they are based on the technology they use.
On the other hand, tablet games remain quite manual and as a result labour intensive. So the table games create a great player engagement opportunities, but unfortunately there is also a technology lag in their ability to track the game play. DRGT’s Tables Management System integrates the table games play data into their reporting modules. This management eliminates the technology lag mentioned above and this will allow Table Managers the ability to offer their players the kind of functionality that is only available in to slot players and Slot Managers.
Expansion in Asia
Customer service is vital for DR Gaming Technology, because it builds a strong reputation. In Asia specifically, the company expanded without a doubt and it has been significantly aided by their strategic partner, RGB International. The presence of RGB in Asia allowed DRGT to forge a truly symbiotic partnership for the benefit of the players. Also, DRGT’s exhibition at G2E Asia in May was well supported and together they were able to address and engage with local Asian players.
In addition, table games like Blackjack11 has been installed in places like Laos, Vietnam and The Philippines. One of their most recent installations was a full installation at the Grandz VIP Club in Caloocan, Manila. The club has opened with DRGT’s world-leading 8.8” drScreenUltra player tracking units and casino management.
For now, the focus of DR Gaming Technology in 2019 will be present for table games and casino management systems solutions for around 50.000 devices across 50 countries. For short, they want to expand their installations as quickly as possible. In addition, in 2019 the company will be focused on the balance between strategic product development and deployment, together with on-going commitment to provide towards casino operators with robust, user-friendly technology that puts the player first.
At the start of the article, Jurgen De Munck has mentioned the rising interested of their latest products and technology from both media and operators point of view. For example, Belgium and Switzerland are the perfect scenarios where DRGT’s expansion has been assisted tremendously by operators endorsements.
In Belgium, Jurgen can proudly say that all 9 Belgian casinos manage their operations using the DRGT system, and in Switzerland, the first DRGT system installation happened in 2008 at Grand Casino Bern. In the same country, the company has expanded to over ten casinos, which resulted in them being the leading gaming system supplier in the country.
The next show exhibition for DRGT will happen in Las Vegas in October, which will also showcase the perfect platform to engage with their Mexican, Latin American and Caribbean operators and players. In addition, the truly global appeal happens at G2E Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas. With these said, the exhibition will afford them an audience with operators from all four corners of the globe with an ideal stage to showcase their full casino management systems and technology products.
