  • Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is a legendary video game, which keeps taking the leading positions in the world charts despite its age. It means that occasionally, the new generation of even better-skilled gamers join the community. Today, CS: GO unites professionals and amateurs representing a wide range of competencies and talents. Choosing the best of the best is a challenge. We looked through our archives as well as the recent statistics at HLTV to present a top 5 list of the teams that made it to the CS: GO hall of fame.

    1. FaZe

Players: NEO, olofmaiseter, GuardiaN, NiKo, rain

Recent LANs: 3rd at DreamHack Masters Dallas 2019, 1st at BLAST Pro Series Miami 2019, 1st at ELEAGUE CS:GO Invitational 2019, 3rd at IEM Chicago 2018, 1st at EPICENTER 2018

Even though their result should’ve been better to get into the top 5, we couldn’t omit FaZe online popularity. The team became famous due to their excellent performance at Call of Duty and thus started interacting with their fans through YouTube and social media. This also contributed to the fantastic image of their CS: GO team, which is now trying to prove the fierce loyalty of their fans.

    1. ENCE

Players: allu, Aerial, xseveN, Aleksib, sergej

Recent LANs: 2nd at DreamHack Masters Dallas 2019, 3rd at cs_ummit 4, 1st at BLAST Pro Series Madrid 2019, 3rd at BLAST Series Sao Paulo 2019, 2nd at IEM Katowice 2019

In a general list by HLTV, ENCE scores at the third place. Here, we relied on their latest results. None of such young teams has ever managed to have a decent fight against Liquid and Natus Vincere during their first year. At the same time, some of the experts share that “ENCE is now the most overrated team in the world” (@Thooorin). Well, let them play the old school army again and see how they nail it.

    1. Astralis

Players: Xyp9x, dupreeh, gla1ve, device, Magisk

Recent LANs: 3rd at ESL One Cologne 2019, 2nd at BLAST Pro Series Madrid 2019, 1st at BLAST Pro Series São Paulo 2019, 1st at IEM Katowice 2019, 2nd at iBUYPOWER Masters 2019

Most of you are probably surprised to see our favorite 2018 champions not taking the higher position. Last year, Astralis’ results were amazing, and now they are still way higher than the average. If you remember, these guys have a very particular approach to discipline, so maybe a small vacation will improve their flow. Otherwise, Astralis will follow MIBR and Cloud 9 in getting benched after their peak.

    1. Vitality

Players: NBK-, RpK, apex, ALEX, ZywOo

Recent LANs: 2nd at ESL One Cologne 2019, 1st at ECS Season 7 Finals, 1st at cs_summit 4

Until this year, Vitality was believed to be a mediocre French team, which had no chances on the international arena. Indeed, if you tried cs go betting sites with those guys just a year ago, you’d probably be disappointed. But look at them now taking silver at ESL One Cologne 2019! Have you heard of ZywOo becoming the most valuable player there as well? These guys are rocking it!

    1. Liquid

Players: nitr0, NAF, EliGE, Stewie2K, Twistzz

Recent LANs: 1st at ESL One Cologne 2019, 1st at ESL Pro League Season 9 Finals, 1st at DreamHack Masters Dallas 2019, 2nd at cs_summit 4, 1st at IEM Sydney 2019

It seems that team Liquid will be remembered as the most stable one through the CS: GO history. Denial Esports Global Offensive might regret their decision of dismissing all the players in 2015. Their current coach says that his team has a secret of outstanding performance, and this is a great atmosphere within a team. By the way, Liquid just got the first place at Intel Grand Slam taking a million dollars, which will for sure contribute to that atmosphere of happiness.

The list is expected to be modified just within a few weeks. Stay tuned to be aware of all the esports news!
