My club’s kit sponsor is SI (with huge FOOTBALL MANAGER logos directly on our chests) and mixed with watching the World Cup, I’ve wanted a good soccer sim. I’ve tried Championship Manager (or Champ Man as it’s called on my ipod), but was frustrated by the lack of instructions. I’ve got no idea what to do to do better other than spend money/watch videos to buy upgrades/better players (which don’t seem to be much help on my team anyway). But since my club is in League Two, those bonuses are basically negligible. What’s the point of increasing your player budget by a third when you don’t even have a starting budget for two conference level free agents?

I was hoping FM might be better, but this sounds too complicated for me. I guess I could play as Wimbledon FC on one of the freeware ones you linked, but I’d rather play as AFC Wimbledon with modern players/competition.
