I think the most important thing for a game is to know just what the hell it is and GO FOR IT.

To me, this was like playing Gurren Lagann. There's absolutely nothing that's too ridiculously, stupidly, overpowered, because it's damn cool. Go beyond the impossible and kick reason to the curb!

I put Blood Dragon in this same category, though it's a little less pure.
