If you&#039;re getting spammed by someone in an FPS, you just leave, or wait for the round to be over in a couple minutes. With these matches that take so long, some people&#039;s hatred can fester and result in 30 minutes of text/verbal slander on somebody else, and all for not buying a courier, or missing a Light Strike Array, or ulting too early. 
 
That being said, however, Dota 2 and other MOBAs are pretty much the only games where I&#039;ve seen such a wide range of emotions on display. One second your anxious, you notice their Clinkz disappeared from the map. Then you&#039;re fearful of a gank. Finally you erupt from a moment of confusion and panic into a state of irresistible joy when you finish off that double kill and counter their gank. You&#039;re smug, then have to chew on some humility as your new-found bravado gets you easily killed. I&#039;m not sure if it just seems so epic, or if it&#039;s something in the design, but that game heightens emotions pretty powerfully. ]]></description>
