I didn't know about Joe Mad leaving Avenging Spider-Man! Interesting choice to replace him with Yu because I see a lot of Yu's earlier pencils (the rough cuts and erratic shading) in Mad's current work. I think Yu's a good choice.

It sounds so silly to say out loud, and even though the ending somewhat justified the zany nature of the simian enemy, it just seemed like there could've been better alternatives. I loved the series, and that's really my only nitpick. And Leinil Yu, is just so brilliant. I'm pretty sad that Joe Mad is leaving Avenging Spidey for a few issues, but Leilil Yu filling in makes up for it.
