Since my characters' secret goal was to not let any of my comrades die, I commanded them to lead the townsfolk into the vault beneath the city while I distracted the dragon. They started rounding up the civilians and I ran toward the dragon brandishing my mace. The dragon followed me, readying its breath weapon, but just as it was about to immolate me the eladrin, Glynneth, used a spell that caused us to switch places. The flames engulfed her instantly, the vault doors closed and with her dying breath she told me that she was my mother!

Her secret goal was to keep me safe.
