I remember walking into a Comp USA with my dad and seeing the first iPod on display. They had it lined up with all the other MP3 players and I remember seeing this white, minimalistic designed box that could hold 1000 songsit looked like nothing I had ever seen before. It had this scroll wheel that was touch sensitive and I didnt have to click anything it just responded like nothing I had ever used before. While my dad was off purchasing something or other I was just standing there with this smile thinking: “This is amazing, this is gonna change things.” Within one year you could’t walk around my college campus without seeing those white earbuds hanging off peoples heads, it was a perfect product. From then on I have seen Apple put out products that continued to amaze and baffle me and the rest of you. If you take a minute and look at your iPhone or iPad and realize what you have and what it can do all in your hand, its pretty astounding. Steve gave us some of the most brialliant products our eyes have ever seen and may never see the end of, his passion for creativity and intuitive design I can say has forever changed my life. He will be missed.

Here’s to the crazy ones. Thanks Steve.

I must have seen at least 20 people post this commencement speech on Facebook in the last twelve hours and I have to say, it's a damn fine tribute to the man.
