					<description><![CDATA[I don&#039;t think you&#039;re wrong to see a hidden message here, but I wouldn&#039;t say it&#039;s a feminist one. Rather I think it&#039;s more of a general one against segregation and prejudice because of differences. If you look at it, not only are the Diclonus female, they also posess a very distinctive skin and hair colour, both of which (pale skin, red hair) are rare in japanese society. Anyway, before I ramble too much, I would say Yuka is the way she is merely to provide a romantic foil to Lucy/Nyu. She uses stereotypical anime tropes so that she can be a familiar archetype to viewers. ]]></description>
