"Clark heeded his father’s advise and in turn, took on the best traits of his father, like selflessness, determination and care for those around him – even Lex Luthor."

"Lex never learned to let things go and he never learned to look beyond himself. Indeed, this was something Lionel Luthor didn’t learned until the end of his life, when he saw where Clark came from and what Clark was – a savior. Lex murdered Lionel Luthor, but Lionel died a humble man, protecting Clark from the monster he unleashed on the world."

What utter trash. If you actually watched the show, instead of sitting in front of the TV and just letting it wash over you, you'd know this was wrong. This Clark was never a 'savior', just an eternal adolescent with god-like powers and a belief in his own perfection. 'Selflessness'? Clark? I never in my life saw such an utterly selfish character as him. He betrayed Lex to Lionel to protect himself. He sat back and watched while Lionel tortured and mindwiped his own son, and then turned around and befriended the monster who had done this to the person who risked his own life to save him. And when did Lex try to murder Lana? Lana faked her own death and made it look like Lex tried to murder her. She claimed this was out of fear, but a few months later she showed up in Metropolis with the $10 million she stole from Lex and set up shop right across the street from him. With no explanation about why she was suddenly not afraid. Gah! The reviewers of this show are braindead, maybe from watching it too much.
