You know, I'd watch a Cylon War show because it could be its own thing and damn entertaining, like Star Trek The Next Generation. Those Razor minisodes were amazing!

As for Caprica, it just seems tedious to me, like the Star Wars prequels or X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Personal preference I suppose.

@Bee Tee Dee:

Trying to be spoiler free here...

I don't see how the trade for a surgeon that was needed to save an important person's life does not make sense? I have not seen the whole show so, maybe I am missing something but, given what I do know, it seems perfectly logical.

@Ian G and echoai:

I have not seen "The Plan" but I did watch some Caprica. i did not think I was going to like it but, it is really very good. I do not view as an effort to further explain the ending of the show but as an explanation for the technology and personalities that lead up to the cylon war. I am sure you heard SyFy is considering a new series based on the first cylon war. I certainly plan to watch it!

You're 100% on in regards to Battlestar. The ending was so nearly pitch-perfect I never bothered to watch Caprica or The Plan.

As for Lost, I liked the second half because it covered Walt. The kid was so important early on, as BTD said, and leaving him out of the final season just felt wrong.
